A Quiet Summer Afternoon at Home

When Tara reached out about photographing her family, it felt full-circle. We’ve known each other since college, and she was actually one of the very first people I ever photographed when I was just starting out. Now married to her longtime husband Carlos and raising their son Gio, Tara wanted something intimate and relaxed at home — a pace that felt natural to their family. Capturing these quiet, in-between moments on film felt like the perfect way to document this season of their lives.
